Hi there, Christina!
It looks like your magical adventure is just a few short days away. The countdown to Main Street vibes and churros is on! Your booking window opens soon, so let's go over all you need to know about
planning Lightning Lanes for parties arriving on different dates.
The short answer is that going together is possible but not guaranteed. Once your family and friends book their Lightning Lanes seven days out, you will be able to see their plans in your
My Disney Experience app. If you haven't
linked your accounts yet, now is the time. When your booking window opens, you will be able to see available times for the attractions they selected. If you can select the same times, you will be able to ride together!
So what happens if the same times/attractions are not available? I have experienced this myself during a large friends' trip, with everyone arriving on different days. Chances are, the times may not match up, as a few days will have passed. My top tip in this scenario would be to secure the first available times for the attractions you chose as a group. Your family and friends have the
option to modify their selections and can try to mirror your time slots if riding together is a must. This worked really well for our group. To increase your chances of having the same times, be sure to have your travel party make modifications as soon as you have secured your Lightning Lanes.
Should modifying the initial selections not be the best option for your travel party, it doesn't mean you will be riding solo for your entire trip. Once everyone uses their first Lightning Lane, you will be able to book and modify together throughout the day. My favorite way to do this is to book the earliest morning Lightning Lane available. This way, you can start modifying and riding together before that first snack break. Christina, I hope these tips help you finalize your adventure's itinerary. Have the best time ever!
See ya real soon!
