    How do I join D23?

    Hello Della!
    Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel!
    I love hearing from fellow Californians, especially Disney enthusiasts who are interested in joining D23, the official Disney Fan Club!
    By the way, did you know "D" stands for Disney and the number "23" represents the year 1923? That was when Walt Disney arrived in California and started working on what would eventually be The Walt Disney Company!
    Joining D23 is very simple. You can either join by visiting the D23 website which offers information and takes to you the Disney Store for the purchase of a D23 membership OR you can just go directly to the Disney Store website to buy your one-year membership.
    I first learned about this awesome Disney Fan Club through a former work supervisor with whom I share my love for all things Disney. At that time he shared some of the perks that came with the membership and I was sold. Among those benefits:
              *Members receive a quarterly publication, Disney twenty-three which features incredible photography, amazing illustrations and great Disney insider articles.
              *You'll get special promotional offers and discounts throughout the year on merchandise, entertainment and Disney vacations.
              *Special D23 Member events (my favorite). You'll have the opportunity to attend numerous D23 member-exclusive events. In the past these have included visits to the Walt Disney Animation studios and other fun offerings.
