Hi there, Amanda!
Most forms of transportation will permit roll-on vehicles: monorails, boats/launches. However, there are two exceptions: the trams in all four Parks and the Walt Disney World bus system.
Trams and buses will not accept any stroller that is not folded up. The parking lots at the Parks are certainly manageable without the tram, which is a feature, but is likely not a deal-breaker.
If Disney transportation will be your primary mode of getting around, you might consider a couple of options:
1 -
Renting a stroller at Walt Disney World. These are meant for use in the Parks, however, and cannot be brought to any Resort hotel.
2 - Renting a stroller from a third-party vendor. Many of my Moms Panel colleagues recommend Orlando Stroller Rentals, which offers both single and double strollers, which can be used all over for the duration of your trip. These are commercially available strollers which can fold up. This company will bring the stroller to you and pick it up at the end of your vacation.
3 - Purchasing an inexpensive "throwaway" stroller for your time in Florida. Many gift shops throughout the Parks sell inexpensive single umbrella strollers (and ponchos, umbrellas, and other emergency items). Discount stores near Walt Disney World offer reasonably priced umbrella strollers - doubles and singles - that you can then choose to leave, donate, or send back home.
While you might lose some of the space of the jogger, a smaller stroller will give you the ability to navigate all forms of Disney transport with ease --- and without stress.
Happy travels!
See you later, celebrator,
-Deborah B.
