Hi Joel! LOVE your answers! We will be there 2/27-3/4. My DS2 and DD5 and I are planning on going to the Chip/Dale sing-a-long after AK 1 day. We are driving our own car. What time would you suggest leaving AK to get there for the 6:30 marshmellow roast?

Hi, Kerri! Killing me with kindness will - I repeat, WILL - get you places in life. I guess first on the docket is from Animal Kingdom to Fort Wilderness for Chip 'n Dale's Campfire Sing-a-long.

The campfire/sing along is held nightly (usually beginning around 7:00 p.m.) behind the Meadow Trading Post. To get there, you'll need to utilize the internal bus system once you drive to and arrive at Fort Wilderness. You can take any of the internal busses to Pioneer Hall and hoof it to the Meadow Trading Post from there (10-15 minute walk.) If you get lucky, the internal bus that you're on may have a bus stop near Meadow Trading Post (just ask.)

I'd suggest leaving Animal Kingdom around 5:00 p.m., which may be pretty close to park close anyways. That will give you plenty of padding with travel time. If you arrive early at Fort Wilderness, you can have some fun at the petting zoo at Tri-Circle-D Ranch (near Pioneer Hall) before heading over to the campfire.
