Hi Joel, being a fellow Milwaukeean, you understand how the winters can be here. We are taking our 2 girls for their first trip in Dec, staying at POFQ and have taken insurance out on our airline tix. Would you recommend also insuring our Disney trip?

Hey, KC! It's good to get a question from somebody in my backyard! Your question on weather is quite timely, seeing as we just saw a 40 degree swing in 24 hours just a few days ago.

Florida winter is awesome. Some of the natives shiver; however, I think it always calls for shorts and/or manpris and Hawaiian shirts. Benchmarking weather during times I've visited in December and February, the coolest it ever got was upper 50s in the morning and that was nothing compared to our climates up north.

Regarding trip insurance - personally, I've never taken trip insurance and I've never had any hiccups during trips two times in December and once in February over the past two years. It's totally your call though.
