Hi Joel, Do you have experience with Verizon 3G at the parks? I'm wondering if you know how well my Droid X will upload photo's or video's to websites like Costco and Flickr during our stay. I don't really want to spend 10$ a day for Wi-Fi at the hotel.

Hey, Audrey! You should see our group of Moms Panelists when we get together. The amount of smartphone activity - both in terms of battery power and data usage - could power a small city. Through our various social media activities, we have put cellular coverage and data plans to the test.

Time and again, Verizon has risen to the top. Other carriers haven't fared nearly as well. Plus, Verizon has a partnership with Disney World through its Mobile Magic application, which puts another feather in its cap and bodes well for assuring you that you'll have good coverage throughout the parks.

You should have no problem uploading photos and videos to various sites within the parks. If you do have a problem, switch your Droid X into wifi mode and upload them at an area with free wifi. There will be no need to purchase internet service at your resort room.
