Joel, I already asked this question but no answer. What type of lights are used for the artificial moonlight at the AK? My 1st trip to WDW and my DSL IS coming!! Thanks! :D

Hi, Kathi! Sorry to hear it was dark (pun intended) the first time you asked your question, but that's awesome that you're bringing the DSL(R?) for some quality shots on your first trip.

My first thought to your light question went immediately to Team Jacob, and I couldn't help but wonder what Team Edward - and Bella, for that matter - would think about the introduction of artificial moonlight and the volatility it posed to his person.

After further contemplation, it dawned on my me and my Moms Panel brethren that perhaps you referred to the way the savanna or other areas at Animal Kingdom are lit at night? If that's the case, chalk it up to quality Imagineering.

To bring it full circle (oye with the puns, Joel...) if you're looking to exercise the aforementioned DSLR camera at twilight - such as evening Extra Magic Hours - with the aggressiveness of Jacob yet the steadiness of hand of Edward, learn some tips from Squidoo.com/WDWPhotos or just ask a PhotoPass photographer for a helping hand - they'll be happy to hook you up.
