Hi Jodi! My husband and I are taking our almost 3 y/o son and 11 m/o daughter on their 1st trip to Disney 9/7-9/13. As a mom of little ones, how much time do you generally allow for naps, including transit time to and from the parks?

HI Kristi - I think you will have a lot of fun with your little ones at Walt Disney World.  My kids have loved going since they were tiny!

For naps, my family typically eats lunch at the parks around 11:30, and then head back between 12:30-1:30.  Depending on where you stay, you should plan on about a half hour to an hour transit time.  My kids typically nap for 2 hours, and then we freshen up and head back (another half hour to an hour to return).

Sometimes, rather than go back to the parks after nap, we spend some time at the resort pool and then go back for dinner.

    Have a great vacation!
