Joanne, thanks for answering all my other questions? This is our family's first trip to WDW and we are psyched. I have been seeing mentions of a snack(?) called Dole (?) what are they? Thanks

    Hi Theresa,

Dolewhips are, hands down, my favorite treat in Walt Disney World!  If you like pineapple, then you have to try on.  Chances are, it won't be your last.

Technically, it's a non-dairy, frozen pineapple flavored, soft-serve product.  More accurately, it's a refreshing, creamy, pineapple treat that can cool you off in the relentless Florida sun.  You can get it by itself, swirled with vanilla (or chocolate) ice cream, and even as a float with pineapple juice.

You can get them at Aloha Isle in Adventureland in the Magic Kingdom.  Captain Cook's Snack Company in the Polynesian also has a self-serve machine.

Hope this helps.  Have a magical vacation!

Meet the Panelist: Diane, Georgia

After spending 25 years in RI, my husband and I relocated to GA with our youngest, who is now in high school. I took my first trip to Walt Disney World when I was 11 and I have traveled many times since then with all different party sizes. From creating our first itinerary as a honeymooner to later creating magical experiences for our multigenerational family gatherings, every aspect of planning a vacation has been pure joy to me.  Learn More About Diane
