Hello, Dawn!
I hope you’re getting excited for your visit to the Happiest Place on Earth this
holiday season! There are not plans for Jingle Cruise (the seasonal re-theming of the Jungle Cruise attraction) to return this year. However, there will still be lots of holiday-inspired magic sprinkled throughout both parks! At Disneyland Park, highlights will include specially-themed attractions like Haunted Mansion Holiday and “it’s a small world” Holiday, A Christmas Fantasy Parade, and the “Believe...In Holiday Magic” Fireworks Spectacular. After the fireworks, “snow” falls in the skies above portions of the park. Plus, there’s nothing like gazing upon Sleeping Beauty Castle when it’s all gussied up with twinkling icicle lights and colorful garland!
At Disney California Adventure Park, Disney Festival of Holidays will bring festive music, dance and food inspired by many cultures! The Festive Foods Marketplace offers kiosks serving multicultural holiday fare that celebrates culinary traditions from around the world. Another must-do is Cars Land, where you’ll be able to experience Mater’s Jingle Jamboree and Luigi's Joy to the Whirl, two Cars Land rides that are all decked out for the holiday season!
I recommend experiencing the “Holiday Time at Disneyland” Tour, a guided walking tour through both parks with details about Disneyland holiday traditions from around the world. You’ll enjoy reserved seating for A Christmas Fantasy Parade, sample a scrumptious holiday treat, receive a collectible pin and more. My family took this tour together a few years ago and loved every magical moment of it!
I hope you have a perfectly pixie-dusted visit, Dawn! Please write back with more questions as you continue making plans.
Wishing you magic,
Courtney
