Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Shauna!
There is so much magic at the Walt Disney World Resort every day of the year, but there’s something extra special about
the holiday magic in the air in the theme parks, resorts, and Disney Springs in December. I’m so happy to hear you’ll be visiting during “the most wonderful time of the year” and I hope you have
all the festive fun!
I love a Disney fireworks dessert party. The pastry artists are so creative, and it’s wonderful to see their themed creations, read the pun-tastic food names, and taste all the treats. There are usually a variety of hot and cold drink options, along with sweet and savory bites. And, of course, the VIP seating for the fireworks is such a special experience. I will never forget watching Jingle Bell, Jingle BAM! from the VIP viewing area with some of my best friends, and just feeling so much joy. I’m so excited for you to have that experience too!
Shauna, we’re still waiting for news about the Jingle Bell, Jingle BAM! dessert party, so keep an eye on the
Disney Parks Blog and the
Jingle Bell, Jingle BAM! web page. Dessert parties sometimes open for reservations about 60 days in advance (though it can be earlier), so my best advice is to keep watching.
Here’s the great news: information about the
Epcot Forever dessert party can be found on the
Frozen Ever After Dessert Party web page. After IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth plays “We Go On” one last time on September 30, 2019, the party will continue, this time with reserved viewing for Epcot Forever. Note that this is a Frozen themed dessert party, and it does feature delicious bites inspired by the citizens and lore of Arendelle, along with reserved fireworks viewing and a ride on
Frozen Ever After. I just checked, and currently reservations are available for select nights in November, so I bet December will pop up very soon.
At this time, I don’t know of an Epcot Forever specific dessert party, but with
so many new experiences, you never know what might be announced, so keep an eye on the Disney Parks Blog.
Shauna, have the most merry and magical time at Walt Disney World this December!
Wishing you a magical vacation,
Robyn
