Hi Heather,
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, and thank you for your question. I visited Walt Disney World just after Thanksgiving last year, and had such a magical time. You are going to love seeing the theme parks and resorts decked out in their breathtaking holiday decorations, and there’s just such a festive feeling in the air!
I feel very qualified to answer this question because I just finished making my 3-column packing list for my trip to Walt Disney World later this week: one column for my t-shirt, one column for the corresponding Minnie Ear headband, and one column for accessories. I love a theme, and I LOVE dressing according to the park I’ll be visiting and the attraction, character, or food item I love to enjoy there.
Having said all that, you are absolutely welcome to wear whatever you’ve been wearing in the park all day to your viewing of
Jingle Bell, Jingle BAM! Even if you were attending the
Jingle Bell, Jingle BAM! Holiday Dessert Party, you’d be welcome to attend in theme park attire. If you wanted to add some holiday flair, you’ll find that the gift shops in the resorts and parks sell all kinds of cute items: last year, I wore my red and green Minnie Ears along with my strand of light-up holiday lights. But if that’s not your cup of egg nog, that’s totally fine too. ‘Tis the season to be comfortable and just focus on enjoying the fun and whimsy of the show with your family!
Happy early Thanksgiving, Heather! I hope your family has a turkey-tastic time during your visit to Walt Disney World.
Wishing you a magical vacation,
Robyn
