    Jill, Would the private fireworks cruise offer a better view than the Tomorrowland Terrace? We are also bringing DD and her BFF to Disney for her senior trip, and have never tried either of those experiences. Any help would be great! Thanks!

    It was so nice to find your message in my personal Moms Panel mailbox.  Good to hear from you!

    Both the Tomorrowland Terrace Fireworks Dessert Party and the private fireworks cruise would offer you stunning views of the Wishes Nighttime Spectacular.  The views, however, would be very different.  At the dessert party, you will be standing fairly close to the castle and Tinker Bell will fly directly overhead.  Additionally, you'll have tantalizing desserts to enjoy.  The boat, parked on the Seven Seas Lagoon right in front of the train station at the end of Main Street U.S.A., gives you a "big picture" view of the fireworks. You'll see more of the fireworks from the lagoon but they will not be as close up.  Snacks and non-alcoholic beverages will be served aboard your private watercraft. 

    You really can't go wrong with either option.  Definitely price out the difference in cost between experiences.  If your travel party is close to eight or ten in number, the difference in price per person between the dessert party and fireworks cruise will be small.  However, the dessert party will be considerably less expensive if your travel party is small.  Even with the difference in price, I would argue that the fireworks cruise is a once-in-a-lifetime experience that is worth the cost, especially if you are celebrating a special occasion.  When I took my students on a fireworks cruise last June, it was the highlight of their vacation.  They are still talking about it.
