Jill thanks for the quick response. I like the idea of the hammock at Polynesian. How many hammock's are there; approx. what time would the fireworks be on June 3: how early to arrive to get hammock: and best route from GF to Polynesian? Thanks again.

    Welcome back Nicholas!

If my recollection from this past June is correct, there are only a few hammocks along the Seven Seas Lagoon behind Disney's Polynesian Resort.  No worries, though!  There are also some nice swings for two and plenty of beach chairs from which you can enjoy the Electrical Water Pageant and Wishes.  You probably need to arrive 15-30 minutes before the fireworks to get a hammock there but the beach chairs will be there if the hammocks are already occupied.

While the schedule for the Wishes Nighttime Spectacular has not yet been released for June 2013, I was at Walt Disney World on June 3, 2012.  In fact, I watched the Electrical Water Pageant with my students from the beach at Disney's Polynesian Resort that very evening!  The Electrical Water Pageant glided by at 9 pm and then Wishes exploded over Cinderella Castle at 10 pm.  Perhaps next year's schedule will be similar.  Check the park schedules at www.disneyworld.com in January.  That's when we're likely to first see the June 2013 schedules.

Finally, the best route from Disney's Grand Floridian Resort to Disney's Polynesian Resort is by boat.  Taking the monorail is also an option but it will take longer.

Best wishes to you as you pull together some magical plans for your honeymoon!
