Hi Jill! Staying @ POP in 11 days - YAY! Want to make room request - Is 60s 4th floor facing hourglass a preferred room? Don't have preferred room. if is preferred, would like another option for hourglass lake view close to bus stops? Thanks for your help

    Hi Jamie,

Thanks for your question.  You must be so excited about your upcoming trip!  I stayed at Disney's Pop Century Resort in May and had a fabulous time.  I highly recommend this delightful Disney value resort.  Be sure to try the tie-dye cheesecake and chocolate chip croissants in the Everything Pop food court during your stay.

Standard rooms at this resort must be more than 500 feet from Classic Hall so there will not be many rooms in this category in the 60's building.  However, rooms with views of Hourglass Lake in the 70's and 50's buildings would be a good alternative if there are no standard rooms available in the 60's building.  Ask your travel agent or Disney reservation agent to make note of your request on your room reservation.  Many of the standard rooms at Disney's Pop Century have gorgeous views across Hourglass Lake.  I'll keep my fingers crossed that you are assigned one of them.

Don't forget to take a peek across Hourglass Lake during your visit.  You'll get to see what amazing progress is taking place at Disney's Art of Animation Resort.  I can't wait to see this resort when it opens next year.

Have a fabulous time at Walt Disney World next week!
