    Hi, Jill. I saw your post about dining at La Hacienda and watching Illuminations. Following your plan for a 7:30 reservation, what are the chances that we will actually get an outdoor table with a view? Likely or not? I don't want to get hopes up.Thanks

    Hi Rebecca,

    That's a great follow-up question about dining at La Hacienda de San Angel.  If you look at the pictures of this restaurant on the Walt Disney World homepage, you'll notice that one whole side of this dining room has enormous, floor-to-ceiling windows facing the lagoon at the center of World Showcase.  Any table near these windows will afford you a view of Illuminations at 9 pm.  I think you have a good chance of getting a table with a desirable view.  To increase the likelihood of this outcome, my suggestion to you is to arrive for your dinner reservation 30 minutes early and tell the host or hostess that you are willing to wait for a table with a view.  It might take a little patience but the magic of watching Illuminations while you dine will make your wait worthwhile.
