Hi Jill...I chose you because I'm a fellow New Jerseryan! Looking to go on a once in a lifetime vaca for our family of 6...is it possible to put something together for 2012 and then pay installments? Too hard to come up with big money all at once! -Dawn

    Hi Dawn,

Thanks for your question.  I love to help fellow residents of the Garden State plan magical Disney vacations!

You most certainly can book your 2012 trip to Walt Disney World now.  In fact, I highly recommend that you do so.  A deposit equivalent to one night's stay in the hotel of your choice will be required to make the reservation.  Then you can call back periodically to make payments to your account, if you wish.  What I recommend instead, however, is that you make payments to a separate bank account in your name.  Then, when the final payment is due to Disney for your vacation, the money will be ready and waiting for you.  The advantage to this approach is that you get to collect the interest on your vacation fund throughout the year.

Send me more questions if you'd like some advice on which Disney resort or dining plan to choose.  I could also recommend restaurants, recreational options, or the best way to get around Walt Disney World property.  If there's something you'd like to know, I would love to help you out!

Best wishes, Dawn, as you plan the vacation of a lifetime!

    Jill
