Ahoy, Lily!
Disney Castaway Cay is one of my favorite ports of call. The island has everything you need for a perfect beach day. There are plenty of lounge chairs with shady beach umbrellas, family-friendly entertainment, and a white sandy coastline for as far as the eye can see. Best of all, your favorite shipboard amenities move to the island for the day! There’s no need to return to the ship for lunch because your dining team is ready to serve a delicious beachside BBQ meal. Even
Disney photographers are on hand to capture your smiles with Mickey and his fun-loving crew in their tropical attire. I know you’ll have oceans of fun exploring this island paradise!
As long as your reservation is paid in full,
first-time cruisers can begin booking
Port Adventures and onboard activities at midnight Eastern Standard Time 75 days before sailing. Sign in to your reservation on the Disney Cruise Line website and look for Cruise Activities. Click the blue “Book Now” button and schedule your fun! Not only can you schedule Port Adventures, but you can also reserve adult-exclusive dining, spa treatments, nursery time, and onboard fun. Don’t worry if an activity is sold out. Guests often change their plans. Just keep checking back or inquire about availability once on board.
I looked at the activities available during my June sailing and called a Cast Member to confirm, but it doesn’t appear that the
Guided Watercraft Ski Adventure (C12) is still being offered. Port Adventures can change, so please check when your booking window opens. Castaway Cay does offer other ways to see the island from the water. You can rent an
Aqua Trike, sail on a
Banana Boat, or paddle around. My family likes to
rent bikes and explore the island on land.
I hope you find the perfect Port Adventure to ride the waves as you take in the breathtakingly beautiful turquoise blue water around Castaway Cay. Please drop us a line again if you think of anything else. We are happy to help!
SEAS the adventure!
