Ahoy there Gerardo! Welcome aboard planDisney! You're just over three months away from an incredible voyage on the high seas! Seems like your course has a stop at
Disney Castaway Cay, too! There are many islands out there, but Castaway Cay is one special spot in the
Bahamas if you ask me. Pristine turquoise water, sugary sand (don't eat it - you only make that mistake once...), and all the Disney Cruise Line service that keeps sailors coming back over and over again!
I see you've also been eyeing some of the more thrilling experiences available as
Port Adventures for your day on Castaway Cay! From Parasailing to Banana Boat Rides there are plenty of exciting activities available for adrenaline junkies to put a little something extra into their day! I'll always remember the first time my wife and I went parasailing at Castaway Cay - it was like living the song "Let's Go Fly A Kite!" From way up in the sky, we could see the entire island, sea turtles, and a few fellow Castaways riding personal watercraft!
I realized I hadn't seen this Port Adventure listed either, so we sent a message in a bottle over to a crew member! According to the crew, if there is no single personal watercraft available anymore, you should be able to book a double for one! A reminder, you must be paid in full as well as within your booking window in order to reserve Port Adventures - which may be why we can't see them at the moment. That said, if you are eligible for booking and still unable to find the Port Adventure to reserve, I'd suggest
calling Disney Cruise Line directly to see if it may be offered on your specific cruise. As Disney has returned to sailing, offerings have been subject to more variability and specific cruises may have more availability than others!
I hope that helps you set a course for adventure for July, Gerardo! With a bit of faith, trust, and pixie dust, maybe you'll be jetting around Castaway Cay in just a few months' time! Thank you for your question and if any others appear on the horizon, you know where to find us here at planDisney!
Fair winds and following seas,
Andrew
