Hi Jessica, thanks for the tip at the resort switching the drink for a snack. Can you do this in theme parks as well? I have children going with me under 3. Also can you bring snacks and water into parks? Thanks

It's great to see you back here today at the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Thomas! I'm happy to walk you through getting the most out of your Disney Dining Plan, and of course, keeping the little ones fed and hydrated through what can sometimes be a very long day at Walt Disney World Resort!

When you're using a Quick-Service credit on the Disney Dining Plan, you can swap your drink for an available snack, side, or dessert if you'd like. This works in the theme parks as well as in the Resort Hotels, so ask the Cast Member serving you what your options are! I do this sometimes when there's an absolutely irresistible dessert on the menu, like the Mini Mango Pie at Yak & Yeti Local Food Cafes at Disney's Animal Kingdom. While you can't refill your refillable mug outside of the Resort Hotels, you are welcome to bring your own water or drinks into the theme parks. Just make sure you don't bring anything that's in a glass or fragile container. This way, you can have some of your kids' favorite snacks on hand and carry some back-up options if you have any picky eaters.

Let me know if you have any more questions, Thomas!
