Is Jesse’s Roundup just for smaller children? We’re 2 adults and don’t want to feel out of place . Is it just a show or is it a dining place as well ?

    Howdy, Teresa!

We're so glad you rode over to planDisney today. It looks like you have a pretty magical summer vacation planned, and I'm happy to talk through the details before you saddle up for adventure.

Jessie’s Roundup: A Rip-Roarin’ Revue is a special entertainment offering available during Cool KIDS' SUMMER at Magic Kingdom Park. This limited-time family-friendly experience features singing, dancing, interactive games, and more- perfectly suited for young deputies and space rangers in training. But hold your horses before you hitch a ride to another watering hole! In my experience, Disney Parks entertainment is in a league of its own and always earns a spot on my family's must-do list. Like any of the attractions, live entertainment and character interactions across the parks, these experiences can be enjoyed by guests of all ages- from kids to kids at heart.

My family loves taking a break from the summer heat to enjoy shows like Disney Villains: Unfairly Ever After at Disney's Hollywood Studios, and Enchanted Tales with Belle at Magic Kingdom Park. For me, the real magic is in the moments where you can let yourself be a kid again, so don't think twice about enjoying everything the parks have to offer.

I'd also like to mention that while this show takes place at The Diamond Horseshoe, meal service there is temporarily suspended and, as such, no advance dining reservations are required. Simply check the My Disney Experience app for showtimes on the day of your visit and pop in for some rootin' tootin' fun! If you decide it's not for you, you're free to mosey on about your day in search of other adventures and greener pastures. But I bet you'll get a kick out of Jessie, Woody, and Bullseye's antics!

If you are looking to enjoy some stick-to-your-ribs grub, the standard holiday-style Diamond Horseshoe menu is still available over at Liberty Tree Tavern. We've dined at both locations and loved the experience each time! The menu is served family-style with all-you-care-to-enjoy refills, so come hungry, but be warned that you may need a wagon or a wheelbarrow to roll yourself out by the time you polish off that last bite of that Ooey Gooey Toffee Cake for dessert. Advance dining reservations are recommended and can be made here.

Teresa, I hope this helps you round up a magical plan of action for your summer visit. Remember, there's no age limit on fun, and Walt designed his parks so that adults and children could enjoy them together. Don't hesitate to enjoy every magical moment, to infinity and beyond!

Please giddy up right back to planDisney if any other questions arise. You've always got a friend in us!

    So long, partner,
    Amy
