    When is Jersey Week 2026?

    Hiya Katlynn!

Thanks so much for stopping by planDisney with your planning question! As someone who grew up in New Jersey but now calls Florida home (while most of my family is still up north), I know all the excitement around Jersey week. So, let’s jump right into your question.

While Jersey Week isn’t an official Disney World event, it’s a nickname guests have given to the time when many New Jersey schools are closed for teachers’ conventions, so you’ll often see a little extra Garden State magic in the parks. This year, it’s anticipated to fall around November 1st through November 7th.

The good news? While you may notice a few more New Jersey accents in the air, I don’t find it nearly as crowded as peak holiday weeks, so you can still have a practically zip-a-dee-doo-dah kind of day.

Here are a few of my go-to tips to keep your park days running smoother than the PeopleMover, and really to help save a little time.  First, use the My Disney Experience app.  This is your magic wand! You can check wait times, adjust plans on the fly, and map out your next adventure without missing a beat.

Next, if you have must-do attractions, I highly recommend looking into Lightning Lanes.  This can be a total game-changer. We live about an hour away and still use Lightning Lane to maximize our time. For example, my daughter loves Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance, so we often grab a Single Lightning Lane for that one, because skipping that line feels like jumping to hyperspace!

Another time-saver is mobile ordering meals. If you're not planning a sit-down meal, this is a must. You can order right from your phone and pick a return time, which means more time enjoying the magic and less time waiting in line.

Katlynn, I hope this helps to answer your question.  If you have any more questions, feel free to visit again.

    See you real soon,

    Christina
