Hi Jen. I’m planning a trip to Animal Kingdom in November. How early should I get to the park to ride the new Pandora avatar ride?

    Hello John!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.  Thank you so much for stopping by to ask a question about your upcoming Fall visit to The Most Magical Place on Earth.  It's my pleasure to be able to assist you today.

Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park is my teenagers favorite park, and Avatar Flight of Passage is her favorite attraction out of all the parks.   We have ridden this attraction so many times that I have lost count.  It is a must-do for any thrill seeker visiting a Walt Disney World theme park.  The breathtaking views of Pandora you will experience from the back of your mountain banshee will be second to none.  I can see why you are wanting to take part yourself.  I do suggest trying to get a FastPass+ reservation for this attraction.   You can book FastPass+ experiences 30 days before arrival if you are not staying at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel or 60 days in advance of your trip if you will be a Guest of a Walt Disney World Resort hotel.   FastPass+ allows you to enter a queue at a specific time and experience the attraction with a much shorter wait.   If you cannot obtain a FastPass+ reservation I suggest you get to the Theme Park about 430-45 minutes before it opens and head straight to Pandora-The World of Avatar to get in line for the attraction as soon as possible.  As they say the early bird gets the worm, or in this case the shorter wait time.  No matter which option you choose I know you will really enjoy your flight.

I hope this has helped.  Please pop in again anytime you have another question about the Walt Disney World Resort.  It's always fun to lend a helping hand to a fellow Guest.

    Dream as Dreamers Do,
