Jedi Training I'm trying to decide if we should stand in line to sign up for the Jedi training at Hollywood Studios. My son is 5 years old and loves swording fighting, though he isn't that knowledgable about all the Star Wars characters. Thoughts?

    Howdy Christina!

In May of this year, my junior Jedi knight (age 4) participated in Jedi Training Academy. He and the others in the academy used The Force and conquered the Dark Side. He is rather tiny in stature but walked around the remainder of the day like he was 10 feet tall!!

I think your son would love the experience but I would definitely give him the highlights of Star Wars before you sign him up.  You might also have him watch one of the Jedi Training Academy sessions prior to his scheduled time so that he knows what to expect.

If he loves sword fighting, I think he will thoroughly enjoy fighting Darth Vader with a lightsaber.  It's a fun experience and I would encourage you to sign him up if you have the opportunity.

Thanks so much for your question and please let me know if you need any further information as you continue planning your Walt Disney World vacation! Have a magical day!
