Jedi Training is the #1 thing my daughter & oldest son wants to do this fall. The #2 thing is dining with the fabulous Doc McStuffins. How can I make sure that our Jedi training does not overlap with the dining reservation?!

    Hi Julie!

Congratulations on your fun fall vacation, it sounds like you have been making some great plans for your family. Jedi Training Academy is one of my family's favorites in Hollywood Studios, and a close second is dining with characters. I truly understand the importance of working out the details of doing both of these activities.

With a little bit of planning and some flexibility on your part, you should be able to experience both Jedi Training Academy as well as dining with the fabulous Doc McStuffins. My advice is to book your dining reservations first. I would try to get an early breakfast reservation before the park opens so that you can have your breakfast finished about the time the park opens in order to sign up early for Jedi Training Academy. If early breakfast reservations aren't available, then try for late lunch.  Since Jedi Training Academy is first-come, first sabered - you should always go straight to the sign up at the ABC Sound Studio when you enter the theme park in order to secure a spot as a Padawan. The earlier you sign up, the earlier your return time.

If you have any problems and your Jedi Training time happens to coincide with your dining reservation, let the Cast Member at the sign up know and see if they can give you an alternate time. If that doesn't work out, another option would be to go to the check-in podium at Hollywood & Vine and see if they can re-arrange your dining reservation. Often altering your dining time just a bit is possible, as long as you already have a reservation. I have found through my years of vacationing at Walt Disney World, the Cast Members always strive to help make your visit as MAGICAL as possible. If you seek their help most of the time they can help you solve your dilemma.

Good luck to your Padawans and Doc fans!

    Blessings,
    Brenda ºOº
