For Jedi Training sign up. Is it a real race to get there? We have reservations at Hollywood and Vine for 8:55am on the 19th? Should I change it to 9:30am so that I can race to get my two children signed up first?

    Hi Jeff!

Thank you for visiting the Moms Panel!

Disney's Hollywood Studios opens at 9.00 am on the day of your visit - May 19th.

Your best chance of signing up for the Star Wars: Jedi Training Academy would be to arrive at Disney's Hollywood Studios 30-45 minutes before the park opens..  As soon as it opens, make your way straight to the Jedi Training Academy stage (next to Star Tours), and ask a Cast Member about signing up for a show that day.  Remember to pick up an Entertainment Times Guide as you enter the park, for the most up-to-date schedule for the Jedi Training Academy.  I am sure your children will love this amazing experience - remember your camera!

I do think that if you wish to keep your reservation for Hollywood & Vine at 8.55 am, it is likely you will miss the opportunity to sign your children up for that day's Jedi Training Academy.  If you would like to do both on the same day, it would be advisable to try and change your dining reservation to a later time (9.30 am or later).  You can do this by calling (407) 939 3463.

If you have any other questions, please come back and ask me - I would be happy to help you plan your magical vacation!
