Is the Jedi Training Academy at Hollywood Studios only available during Star Wars weekends? My 5 year old Star Wars fan would love to participate in the training academy but we will not be at WDW in June. Thanks, Christina, IL

Not to worry the Star Wars: Jedi Training Academy is a live show that takes place every day in Hollywood Studios.  Children between the ages of 4 to 12 can volunteer to be in the show.  I'm sure your son will love it.  I have a 33 year Star Wars fan in my house.  He enjoys watching the show and secretly wishes he could get up on stage.  Be sure to check out Star Tours as well.

When you enter Hollywood Studios look for a Time Guide.  It will tell you when the Jedi Training Academy shows will take place as well as when characters like Lightening McQueen will be appearing.

    Have a great trip.

Meet the Panelist: Michelle, New Jersey

I have been fortunate enough to be on the Walt Disney World Moms Panel since 2008.  As a Disney World enthusiast, I can’t imagine a greater opportunity.  My husband, our 6-year-old daughter, and I visit WDW a few times a year.
