I am Japanese. My Chinese husband and I will be boarding a Disney Cruise on the Bahamas itinerary. We have already obtained our visas. Are there any other documents we need?

    Hey there, hi there, Nozomi!

"You're as welcome as can be!" Thanks for stopping by planDisney. As a fellow Guest like you, it's my pleasure to offer my perspective on how to approach your planning as you look forward to sailing on the Disney Cruise Line. My family and I recently returned from sailing on the Disney Treasure out of Port Canaveral, FL. We loved our experience and can't wait to return for another Disney cruise adventure.

Here's a list of required travel documents from the perspective of Disney Cruise Line. Check out the section titled "The Bahamas, Caribbean, Pacific Coast, Bermuda or Canada – Round Trip Cruises" for information about your Bahamian cruise. At the very least, you will need to have your valid passports and travel visas. Beyond that, you will need to make sure you have all of the necessary documents and information for visas specific to your circumstances. I recommend visiting the website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Government of the Bahamas for the latest information about their visa requirements and documentation.

Besides citizenship travel documents, you will also want to have your port arrival form. If you have the opportunity to check in online in advance of your cruise, you will be able to print this out then. The nice thing about advanced online check-in is that you will also be able to upload images of your passports and travel documents to allow them to be verified ahead of time. Guests who are unable to check in online may do so at the port before the all aboard time.

I hope you have a magical cruise, Nozomi. If you have more questions about what to expect during your Disney cruise vacation or would like some recommendations, please don't hesitate to reach out to us here at planDisney again.

    Bon Voyage, Nozomi!
    ~Tony
