    January's Disney Family Fun Run 5K at Epcot takes place at 7:00am. If only a few members of a family want to participate in the 5K, can the other family members get into Epcot that early to be there to greet the participants at the finish line?

    Laurie:

    If this year's Family Fun Run during the marathon weekend is like last year's, the finish line will actually be outside of Epcot, so no need to try to gain park access. When my husband and father-in-law ran it this year, my two brother-in-laws cheered them on at the finish line without having to purchase anything and got quite a few pictures. My husband says he doesn't recall any spectators during the race's course in the park except for Cast Members.

    Later this fall, I suspect that Disney will offer their CHEAR Squad opportunity to reserve a seat at the finish line and get several souvenirs like Mickey clappers to root for your family members.  You can keep an eye here at Spectator Resources. But my two brother-in-laws, who had already spent their budget on the marathon race, didn't buy the CHEAR Squad package and thought their vantage point for the 5K finish was just as fine.
