This January, we will be spending 5 days at disneyworld - staying at Pop Century - and then going on a 4 day disney cruise into the Bahamas. What is the cheapest way of transportation from the resort to Port Carnaval?

    Hi there, Jolene!

The most convenient and expedient way to roll from Walt Disney World is, of course, the Disney Cruise Line bus!

As part of your cruise package, you can purchase transfer tickets via Disney for transport to the Port from either the Orlando airport or your Disney hotel. You'll be whisked away in a luxury motor coach (with a bathroom on board).

One way travel per person from either WDW to the Port, or Port to WDW, or the Airport is $35. Transfers should be arranged prior to arrival in Orlando.

You'll receive baggage tags in advance that will eliminate the need for you to hassle with luggage. When you are leaving the Resort via Disney Cruise Line bus, you'll hand off your luggage, and your bags will be delivered to your stateroom.

A fun (and surprisingly economical) way to get from Walt Disney World to the Cruise Terminal at Port Canaveral is to use luxury sedan, limo, private van or SUV service. From Walt Disney World area hotels to the Port, a luxury sedan like a Lincoln Town Car with a capacity of four adults will cost approximately $242 round trip plus plus gratuity and any applicable fees.

You'll need to call some of the Orlando-area car services for one-way fares. One caveat: because these services are based out of Orlando, it is likely that the one-way fare will be nigher than the one-way ticket on a Disney Cruise Line bus, unless there are passengers willing to take the Town Car back to Walt Disney World.

It's my opinion that the value of convenience, comfort, and reliability is unmatched by the Disney Cruise LIne bus service. Give Disney Cruise LIne a call at (877) 566-0967 for more information.

    Bon voyage!

    See you later, celebrator,
