When will January 2027 scheduling be opened?

    Hi Vicki!

I hope you're having a wonderful day, and welcome to planDisney!

It's great to see you're getting a head start on planning your upcoming visit to Walt Disney World Resort! Planning ahead is the best way to get the most value and stay up to date on everything The Most Magical Place on Earth has to offer.

The booking calendar for 2027 will typically open from early spring to midsummer this year if the usual trend continues. Be sure to check back periodically to start planning your 2027 trip! As soon as your preferred dates become available, I recommend booking right away and keeping an eye out for special offers. If you see one that fits your dates, call Disney, where a friendly Disney Cast Member can help apply it to your reservation. I like to book as soon as possible to avoid my favorite Disney Resort hotels selling out. In the meantime, explore the Disney Resorts Collection hotels to see which resort catches your eye. Personally, I love Disney's Port Orleans-French Quarter and Disney's All-Star Sports Resort. There's truly a resort for everyone!

Be sure to check out the benefits available to on-site Guests. They add extra pixie dust to an already magical vacation! My favorite perks include Early Theme Park Entry, which lets you enter the parks 30 minutes before they open to the public, and complimentary transportation, it's like your own magic carpet ride. I also love that you can book your Lightning Lanes passes 7 days before arrival for your entire stay, giving you first pick of highly sought-after attractions.

Bonus tip: Stay up to date on special events and festivals during your trip. If you're visiting in January, you might be able to experience the EPCOT International Festival of the Arts, one of my favorites!

Vicki, I hope this information is helpful as you plan your magical journey! Please come back and visit me with any questions you may have. I'm always just a click away.

    Your personal planning companion,
