When does January 2023 open for booking?

Hiya, Nicole, and thanks for bringing your question to planDisney!

It’s never too early to start thinking about your next visit to the Disneyland Resort, so I’d love to help you get started! Currently, Disneyland Resort Hotel reservations and Vacation Packages are only available through December of 2022. I checked with a Cast Member, and was told that Vacation Packages and Resort Hotel reservations tend to open for the following year by the end of summer, typically by the end of August. So, I recommend checking Disneyland.com or checking back with us in June or July to see if we have any updates to pass along.

As for theme park tickets, you can start making theme park reservations up to 120 days in advance, subject to availability. I checked the calendar, and with your arrival date, that should put you at about mid-September. You’ll be able to choose between a One Park Per Day ticket or a Park Hopper ticket. With the One Park Per Day option, you’ll select one theme park (Disneyland Park or Disney California Adventure Park), and stay there the entire day. With a Park Hopper, you’ll select one park to start in, and then “hop” to the other park any time after 1:00 PM.

Last but certainly not least, you can start booking dining reservations up to 60 days in advance, which would put you around mid-November. There are so many unique options to choose from, so I recommend checking out the menus ahead of time. Some of my family’s favorite spots include Lamplight Lounge, Wine Country Trattoria, Plaza Inn, Jolly Holiday Bakery Cafe, and GCH Craftsman Grill.

As you continue planning your epic getaway to the Happiest Place on Earth, I recommend following @plandisneypanel on Instagram for all the latest tips and tricks for your visit. Also, if you have any other questions as your trip gets closer, please visit us again… we’re all EARs!

    Happy planning,
    Kristin
