We are going in January 2010 and finally decided on Chef Mickey for a mid week breakfast. How long does breakfast take so I know what time to put in for reservation time and still make it to MK for opening at 9am? Thanks

Hi, Kathy!  Chef Mickey's is a great way to start the day!   At Chef Mickey's, it takes between an hour and hour and 15 minutes for all the characters to make their way to your table.    It may go quicker, but don't cut your time short and chance missing the opportunity to get that perfect photo with Mickey and his pals!

I would make the Advance Dining Reservation between 7:00 a.m. - 7:15 a.m.   This will give you time to enjoy your breakfast then walk over to the Magic Kingdom.   You can also take the monorail over, but walking will be your quicker option.

Chef Mickey's is a very popular location, so make sure you make your Advance Dining Reservations as soon as you hit your 90 day booking window by calling (407)WDW-DINE or book online at www.disneyworld.com.

Have a great time in WDW and enjoy your breakfast with Mickey!

Meet the Panelist: Cathy, Ohio

Hi, I'm Cathy from Cleveland. I love to travel, especially in the winter to escape the cold of Ohio! My husband and 2 kids share my enthusiasm for travel, so we enjoy our adventures together whether it is sailing with Disney Cruise Line, running (or cheering!) at runDisney events, taking hula lessons at Aulani, or vacationing at the Walt Disney World which is our home away from home. I am proud to be a part of the planDisney team and cannot wait to share my tips and advice for a magical vacation
