    when will January 2019 complimentary DVC hours be available

    Hi Ann Marie,

    Thanks for visiting Disney Parks Moms Panel, and hello to a fellow Disney Vacation Club Member.  

    It looks like you're heading for a Walt Disney World vacation in January. What a wonderful way to kick off the New Year!

    When you ask about complimentary Disney Vacation Club hours, might you be thinking of the Moonlight Magic events? The Moonlight Magic events are spectacularly fun events designed for Disney Vacation Club Members and their guests. The events offer complimentary admission to a theme park for a nighttime celebration, snacks, entertainment, and character experiences. I had the opportunity to join in the fun for two of the events — Moonlight Magic at Magic Kingdom Park and Moonlight Magic at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Park. I really enjoyed the nighttime fun in the theme parks and loved getting to see my favorite Disney Character friends.

    As of now, there isn't information available on what's planned for Moonlight Magic for 2019. I do recall that this time last year, in late November, Disney Vacation Club announced dates for the 2018 Moonlight Magic events. Hopefully we'll all soon know what the plans might be for these Member events. One resource I frequently check for updates is the Member Benefits & More page.

    As a Disney Vacation Club Member who's also visiting Walt Disney World in January 2019, I am really looking forward to enjoying the many Disney Vacation Club Member benefits.
