As the Make a Wish organisation is not part of Disney, I'm afraid I don't have any further information to share, but perhaps my one little spark of an idea is something you could look into, and if appropriate, have further discussions with the family in need.
And lastly, I thought it might be super useful to know that Guests are indeed able to book
