Hello Laura,
As both you and I count the
planDisney Podcast hostess with the mostess,
Amiyrah M amongst our circle of Disney friends, I think it's safe to say that it truly is "a small world after all!" My class of 2014 planDisney pal is truly super thoughtful to have sent you my way.
Laura, I have a plethora of pixie-dusted knowledge to share with you concerning visiting
Walt Disney World Resort during the Holiday season. This magnificently beautiful time of the year sees all the Disney Theme Parks, Disney Resorts Collection hotels and
Disney Springs adorned in whimsical Mickey-shaped wreaths, bright red Poinsettias, and many thousands of twinkling lights.
Christmastime at Disney really is a sight to behold, and I highly encourage you and your 2 teenaged Mouseketeers to explore each Disney Theme Park, Disney Resorts Collection hotel, and Disney Springs to enjoy all the individually themed decorations and seasonal offerings.
My top planDisney tips for visiting Walt Disney World Resort during the Holidays are -
- Begin planning right away!
-
Make travel arrangements and reservations at your desired Disney Resorts Collection hotel, and purchase Magic Tickets as part of a Holiday Package from the UK-based Walt Disney Travel Company - Create a My Disney Experience account and link your Disney Resorts Collection hotel reservation, and
Magic Tickets - Once Magic Tickets are successfully linked to your
My Disney Experience account, go right ahead and make those all-important
Disney Park Pass reservations for your intended Disney days. Especially for the historically busy days of December 25th and 31st
- At 60 days ahead of time, be ready promptly at 11 am (UK time) to secure any
Advanced Dining Reservations at your desired Disney dining locations via My Disney Experience
- As a
benefit for Guests staying in a Disney Resorts Collection hotel, it will be possible to make
Advanced Dining Reservations at 60-days ahead of check-in, PLUS for a further 10 days into your magical stay! - A side note for Advanced Dining Reservations, whilst I would say pre-booking is usually highly advisable for popular dining locations such as Cinderella's Royal Table, it might be possible to utilise
Mobile Dine Walk-up Availability via the My Disney Experience Mobile App to snag an available table for your family!
Laura, I sincerely hope I've been able to provide a little insight and guidance for you into visiting Walt Disney World Resort during the season of goodwill to all men (and, mice)! If you have any further questions, then please don't hesitate to pop back to
me here at planDisney.
Have a great Disney day ~ Jane
