    Jan. 11th is my wife's birthday and as we will be at Disney World during this time we would like to celebrate her birthday there and as her favorite character is Capt. Hook it would be cool if he could be there how could I make this happen.

    Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Thank you for visiting us with your wonderful planning question. Birthdays at Walt Disney World Resort are extra magical and your wife is an extremely lucky lady to have you wanting to plan some extra Pixie Dust for her. 

    As soon as I saw this question, I immediately thought about the Pirates and Pals Fireworks Voyage. Not only will this fun event give you a storybook setting for her special day, you'll have the chance to shake hands...err, hooks, with Captain Hook before your voyage. Disney PhotoPass photographers will be waiting to capture photos of both you and your wife celebrating her birthday in pirate style with the salty sea captain and Mr. Smee. Then, after enjoying some treats, you'll set sail on an unforgettable trip, dropping anchor at the perfect location to watch Wishes Nighttime Spectacular above beautiful Cinderella Castle. You will want to call and make reservations quickly, as the experience can fill up fast. As a tip, make sure when they open the doors to enter you get directly in line for Captain Hook and Mr. Smee. This way you can get your pictures taken quickly and have the rest of the time to enjoy all of the party snacks.
