    We have our Jan '14 vaca booked! Were staying at AOA in LM rm. Here is my ? IF by chance they offer free dining while we are there do you think it would be better to upgrade to a moderate resort that would make us eligible?

    Hi Shannon!

         Wow, that is so awesome that you have booked your January 2014 Walt Disney World vacation!  I would recommend that you keep your Little Mermaid booking at the Art of Animation Resort because reservations at the Art of Animation Resort are difficult to get because it is so popular.  You can take advantage of a special offer like free dining that comes out between the time that you booked and the time of your vacation. Keep in mind that you can only take advantage of one special offer or discount per vacation package. You can contact Disney if you find out about a better deal and they will rebook your vacation to take advantage of the new special offer (you have to contact them and ask for the special offer in order to get it) and you would be able to upgrade to a Moderate Resort at that time to get a Free Dining offer.

    I hope that your January 2014 vacation to Walt Disney World is truly magical in every way!
