    We are going Jan 19-26, so excited! We are in a Pop Cent. preferred room but can switch to Port Orleans RS standard room for the same cost with our free dining discount. My children are 7&5. What do you recommend?

    Hi Heidi!

    I would absolutely recommend switching to Port Orleans Riverside. While Riverside is a sprawling resort, it offers more recreation and comfort than Pop Century.

    Riverside's standard rooms have all undergone renovations within the last year. They now have two queen size beds in each room. They were refurbished with all new carpeting, bedding, tiles, and more.

    The queen beds alone will allow for more comfort for your family.

    For amenities, Riverside has a beautiful food court, table-service restaurant, great pool with a slide, and riverboat transportation to Downtown Disney.

    Yes, there will be more walking at Riverside however in the low season, you should be able to get a room close to a bus stop and main building.
