Jambo! I'm planning a first-time Disney World trip for my Disney-loving girlfriend. I've been before in 2018, but want this trip to be unforgettable. Any ideas? Also, any tips for proposing at the Rose Garden in UK Epcot Pavilion?"

Hello, John! I'm so happy to welcome you to planDisney today and hope that... in the words of Mary Poppins... we can help make your vacation "practically perfect in every way!"

Now, John, you certainly have excitement already on the horizon with a proposal planned (squeal!) so let's chat about some ideas to spread a bit more pixie dust over your trip.

First, I would recommend learning more about the Capture Your Moment Disney Photopass add-on service available. These are 20-minute sessions where you have a photographer just for you! At EPCOT you can choose from a variety of locations and it might be the perfect surprise... before, during, or after the big surprise!

Another great way to celebrate your own Happily Ever After would be with a Fireworks Dining Package and in fact, there is one available at the Rose & Crown Dining Room, located in the UK pavilion at EPCOT. After what could arguably be one of the most important days of your life, you can kick back and relax with delicious British food and a special fireworks view.

John, while your day at EPCOT sounds like a fairytale, even Royalty gets exhausted so let's chat about accommodations. If it fits into your budget, I highly recommend staying at a Disney Resort Hotel to stay in the middle of the Magic! With complimentary transportation to and from the parks and extra perks like early theme park entry, you might never want to leave! Now, selecting a Disney Resort Hotel is often tough for me... kind of like picking my favorite Disney movie. However, for a couple's only trip, here are a few of my favorites:
         - Disney's Yacht Club Resort (walkable and Disney Skyliner access to EPCOT and Disney's Hollywood Studios)
         - Disney's Riviera Resort (Disney Skyliner access, beautiful grounds, and great coffee at Le Petit Café)
         - Gran Destino Tower at Disney's Coronado Springs Resort (gorgeous lobby, great dining options for drinks and appetizers, and Sangria University)
         - Disney's Port Orleans Resort- French Quarter (quaint and easy to navigate, Mickey-shaped beignets and horse-drawn carriage rides next door)

John, I hope this helps as you continue on your planning journey. Please come on back with any additional questions you might have. My fellow panelists and I would be happy to give more recommendations, answers, and insight. Wishing you all the best and... congratulations!!
