Hi Jackie, We have a Park Hopper ticket with Animal Kingdom as our first park reservation. We plan on ending the day at Magic Kingdom. Can I park at Magic Kingdom in the early morning, take a bus to Wild Kingdom, scan in and then return to MK after 2:00PM

Hey there, Robert. Thanks for stopping by with a question for me! It sounds like you have a great day planned at Walt Disney World!

Robert, You can absolutely park at the Transportation and Ticket Center in the morning and then head over to Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park for the first part of the day and then hop over to Magic Kingdom Park anytime after 2:00 p.m. However, it might be more convenient for you to head straight to Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park bright and early in the morning and park there first. Buses do not run from the Transportation and Ticket Center over to Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park anymore. What you'll need to do is after you park, hop on the monorail over to any of the resorts, the first stop you'll come to is Disney's Polynesian Village Resort. From there, you'll get off of the monorail and walk outside to the bus stop area and hop a bus over to Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park. There is also a walking path that connects the Transportation and Ticket Center to Disney's Polynesian Village Resort that you could use as well. You'll want to get to Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park pretty early if you want to experience Avatar Flight of Passage with little to no wait time. I like to get to the theme parks anywhere from 45 minutes to an hour before the scheduled park opening time so I can experience my must-do list before the park tends to get busy for the day. After you've enjoyed your morning at Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park, you can then head back to your car and drive yourself over to the Transportation and Ticket Center (the main parking hub for Magic Kingdom Park). If you are a Walt Disney World Resort Hotel Guest you actually receive complimentary theme park parking and if you aren't, you'll only need to pay once per day and then have in and out parking privileges at all of the Walt Disney World Theme Parks. If you drive yourself, be sure to save your parking receipt to show the parking attendant at the next Walt Disney World Theme Park. I personally really like driving myself around the Walt Disney World Resort. It gives me so much flexibility in my day.

I hope this helps you plan your day a little bit better, Robert. If you have more questions, please feel free to come back and ask me. I'm happy to help.

    Have fun and happy hopping!

Meet the Panelist: Jackie, North Carolina

I love all things Walt Disney World.  In fact, since becoming Annual Passholders, my family of 3 is always hopping in the car for a quick trip to visit with Mickey Mouse!  I've been known to make the 8 hour each way drive to Walt Disney World (in one day!) to indulge in a Mickey Waffle or enjoy a sunny day at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.  I may have a small family, but we are always up for some BIG fun at the Walt Disney World Resort.   Learn More About Jackie
