Jackie, My wife & I will be in Epcot on Fri., 09/09/11. Do you have any statistics of crowds on the Friday after Labor Day compared to, for example, a Friday in July or August? Thanks, 21 days til WDW!

    Hi Edward!

Twenty one days???  This is about the time in my vacation planning where my work is interrupted by day dreams and I find Hidden Mickeys everywhere I look - sooo exciting!  Friday, September 9, 2011 is estimated to have some pretty heavy crowds that day - it is expected to have crowd levels of 7 out of 10.  Ouch!  Epcot will have Extra Magic Hours that night and it is expected to have the heaviest crowds of the four parks.  On the other hand, the Magic Kingdom will only see crowds of 1 out of 10 - Awesome!

When you look back at other Fridays in Epcot during July and August, you see pretty hefty crowds as well, after all it is Summer!  Typically Tuesdays are the busiest days at Epcot and Fridays are generally considered to be a great day to visit.  However, once kiddos have returned to school, Epcot sees higher than normal crowds on Fridays.  Of course, I think that as long as you have a game plan for your visit, you will be just fine on that day - Epcot is huge and the crowds disperse very well.  Have an awesome vacation!!!

    Much pixie dust,
