Hi Jackie, I am from just outside of New Orleans also. How do you normally travel? Drive or Fly? I wondered if you knew of any specific airlines that are discounted from somewhere near us to Orlando?

    Hi Angell!

I have a couple of friends named Angelle- I guess it must be a "Louisiana thing!"  My husband hates to admit it, but he is TERRIFIED to fly, which of course means that we drive nearly everywhere.  However, when we do fly, Southwest always has the best deals and we always have excellent experiences when fly with them.  (Of course my husband wouldn't agree!)

We have driven over 20 times and we know the route like the back of our hands!  It is a good 10 hour drive when you include stops to eat and for the kids to get out and potty, stretch, complain, etc.  I highly recommend dividing the trip into two days if you can - it makes it a LOT easier.  Of course, we are usually so excited to get there that we just drive straight through!

Look for me around town - I'll be the one with three boys and a big smile!

    Much pixie dust,

    Jackie S.
