Hi Jackie! Traveling to WDW Oct 18 - 24 from South LA with 2-vets, 2-1st timers & 2-2yr olds. As a fellow Louisianian, is weather in WDW similar to weather at home during these dates? And how about crowd levels? Thanks!

    Hi Rachel!

If by similar weather, do you mean hot, humid and miserable???   Just kidding, October in Disney World is pretty much the same as it is in the N'Awlins area.  I love, love, love to visit in October because the crowds are not bad at all and the weather is actually pretty nice.  It is still warm enough to swim during the day, but it can get a little chilly at night.

Whew!  Two 2 year olds?  My number one piece of advice?  Don't forget to bring or rent a stroller!

    Much pixie dust,

    Jackie S.
