Hey there, Laurel. I'm so glad you've stopped back by to chat with me a little bit more about your upcoming Walt Disney World vacation. 

I'm excited to know that you may be considering adding Disney Genie+ during your trip to help enhance your magical experience. Because this is a relatively new service, I think there can be some kinks in the system that still need to be worked out which is probably why you are having a hard time adding it to your MyDisneyExperience account. Right now, I'm recommending that you call the MyDisneyExperience support line at (407) 939-4357 and have them help you through the process of adding Disney Genie+ to your preexisting Walt Disney World tickets. 

If you want to add Disney Genie+ day by day instead while you are on vacation, which is what I am actually recommending since it's new and you might want to test the waters before diving right in, the first thing I would suggest that you do is to make sure that your MyDisneyExperience app is updated to the latest version. This is the version that is needed to run Disney Genie+. Next, you'll be prompted to log in to your MyDisneyExperience account. Once you've done that, launch the app and select the three blue horizontal lines on the bottom right-hand corner of the screen. This will open up a navigational menu. From there, you'll select "My Genie Day" the button with the Genie lamp on it. There will be a portion in purple that says, "Get Disney Genie+ Service" and that's what you'll click on next. Then a new screen will pop up that gives you a little bit more information about what all Disney Genie+ entails with a button at the bottom that again says, "Get Disney Genie+ Service"  and you'll click on that. The next step will be to confirm your travel party, you'll check the box next to all the people you'd like to add on the service for. You'll then be taken to a confirmation page and if all looks good you can check out. You can add Disney Genie+ each day starting right at midnight but don't worry, you can't start making your selections until 7:00 a.m. so you can add it on to your account right before then. There's no need to do it at the stroke of twelve.
