Hi Jackie, Thank you for the good advise. I was wondering how early should we be at the bus stop to head to the park let say it opens at 8am. We wanted to stay on a monorail resort but not in the budget so we will be at Coronado Springs Pref. Room. Thanks

Hello again, Lucas!  I'm so happy you came back to ask another question about your holiday trip.

My family and I usually arrive at the bus stop 1 hour prior to park opening.  So if the park opens at 8:00  a.m. we'd leave our room by 6:40 a.m., fill our mugs and be at the bus stop right before 7:00 a.m.  As a general rule, all buses to the parks start running 1 hour prior to that park opening so you should be on one of the first buses of the morning doing it that way.  On Christmas morning, I would plan to be at the bus stop a little earlier than that because the buses will be full and you wont want to waste time waiting in line for another one.

My family and I typically stay at a moderate level resort and always have a great time.  I like using the Disney bus system to get around and find they are always pretty timely.  My daughter particularly like riding on the buses, she things it's the first "ride" of the day.

Hopefully this give you a nice timeline on when you need to be ready and out the door each morning for your trip.  As always, if you have any other questions - come back and ask me!

Meet the Panelist: Jackie, North Carolina

I love all things Walt Disney World.  In fact, since becoming Annual Passholders, my family of 3 is always hopping in the car for a quick trip to visit with Mickey Mouse!  I've been known to make the 8 hour each way drive to Walt Disney World (in one day!) to indulge in a Mickey Waffle or enjoy a sunny day at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.  I may have a small family, but we are always up for some BIG fun at the Walt Disney World Resort.   Learn More About Jackie
