Jackie S....can you tell me exactly what CMs are? We are leaving for WDW in 67 days and I was reading about early check in...any additional information is appreciated. We will be there on 5/24-5/31

    Hi Denise!

All of the abbreviations floating around out there can get VERY confusing!  CM stands for "Cast Member,"  which is the phrase that Disney uses for all of its employees.  We on the Moms Panel sometimes get completely baffled by some of the abbreviations in questions asked to us - it can get quite tricky trying to figure out what it stands for!

Online, or early, check-in is available to all guests staying on Walt Disney World property.  Ten days before your arrival date, you may click on the online-check in icon, located on the official Disney website.  From this point, you will be prompted to enter your reservation number.  You may make special requests at this time, but of course not all of them can be guaranteed.  You will also be asked to enter a credit card number if you would like Express Check-Out or to use your Key to the World card as a charge card.  It is NOT necessary to enter a card number unless you want to!  Once you arrive at your resort, you will enter a short line to pick up your keys and room info.  Cast Members will be on hand to help you with this process and to answer any questions.

I will be trying this for the first time in May.  In fact, we arrive on your departure date!  Thanks for the great question and have a wonderful time!

    Much pixie dust,
