Hi Jackie! I am going on a special mother/daughter trip this December. I currently have a reservation for Les Chefs de France. However, I am now considering switching to Restaurant Marrakesh. Which one do you prefer? Thank you so much! I love the panel!

    Hi Angela!

I had so much fun with my mother in September - the memories were priceless!  My mom is usually a little hesitant about trying out the more adventurous attractions, but she experienced almost everything this trip.  I was so proud of her!

I must admit that I have never actually eaten at Restaurant Marrakesh, I have only walked through it on a couple of occasions.  The atmosphere was gorgeous and it really looked like so much fun.  The menu looks great; however, I have never been able to convince anyone to try it with me.  My mom is a vegetarian and the menu is pretty heavy on the meat!  Of course, I am sure that the chefs would have been happy to accommodate any of her requests.  It is definitely on my "to do" list, but I really can't recommend it, as I have never experienced it!

On the other hand, I LOVE Les Chefs de France!  The atmosphere is so cozy and I truly feel as though I've stepped into France every time that I walk through the doors.  I always start out with a glass of wine, so that may be why my memories are always so good!  The onion soup is out of this world and the rest of the offerings are pretty wonderful as well.  This is one of those restaurants that are really better suited for adults; however, children are more than welcome.  One of my favorite Disney memories is actually of my mother and I at Chefs de France giggling about the handsome French waiters!   Oooh la la!

Bottom line, you can't go wrong with Chefs de France, but Marrakesh certainly has a lot to offer.  If it were up to me, I would keep your Advanced Dining Reservation and savor every second that you have with your mom.  I am so glad that you enjoy the panel and I would love to hear from you again!

    Much pixie dust,

    Jackie S.
