Jackie, I too have 3 pirates (8,5,2)...we want to do a pirate adventure in AUG when we go...what is the difference in them? We will be staying at CBR, so I was going to book that, but then saw you liked the BC best, why? Thanks and pixie dust to you too!

    Hi Jennifer!

Our pirates are so close in ages!  We also have something else in common - I have family in Missouri!  My husband has a lot of relatives in the Cape Girardeau area (Jackson, Marble Hill, etc.)  We love to visit in the Fall - it is absolutely gorgeous.  Don't get me wrong, I love Louisiana, but it is nice to see land that isn't flat!

All four of the pirate cruises are pretty much the same and they all cost around $30 galleons (oops, I mean dollars) plus tax per child.  All of them feature "exotic" ports of call, lunch and lots of booty to find.  Our favorite is the Albatross Treasure Cruise because the kids actually get to visit Epcot in the process.  However, since you are already staying at the Caribbean Beach Resort, I absolutely recommend their Island of the Caribbean Pirate Cruise.  It is sooo much fun and your kids will never know the difference.  Another factor to consider is the day of the week that your treasure hunters want to set sail.  The Beach Club cruise takes place on Wednesdays and Fridays, while the Caribbean Beach boat leaves only on Tuesdays.  Both "ships" leave port at 9:30 and can be booked by calling 1-407-WDW-PLAY.  Full payment is required at the time of reservation.

These cruises book up very quickly and are for kids ages 4-12.  Sadly, your littlest guy will have to remain a landlubber with you.  Whatever your choice, I just know that everyone will have a GRRReat time!

    Much pixie dust,

    Jackie S.
