Hi Jackie! Normally visit in Sept/Oct but thinking late Nov/Dec this trip. What is the weather generally like? Is it too cold for the kids to swim? Will TL or BB open? A change from the Aussie 95-104 degree Christmas might be nice! Thanks once again!

    Hi there, Sarah!

Thanks so much for sending your question directly to me!

I really love visiting Walt Disney World during September and October, but late November / early December is really gorgeous as well! I think you'll absolutely love it too! See, Halloween is my favorite holiday, but Christmas is not too far behind, and it's especially gorgeous at Disney with all of the Parks and Resorts all dressed up for the holidays!

I'll be honest with you, the weather can be a little crazy and unpredictable during this time of the year. There were a few days last week that were in the mid-80's and this week, it's back to around the 70's. As far as the pools go, they are heated and I feel like it really depends on what you're used to. When we used to travel from Seattle, 60 degrees felt hot to us and it was perfect swimming weather! That might feel different to your family since you are used to such hot weather.

Typically, one of the Water Parks will be open at any given time and the other one will close from around mid-December through the Springtime. I have noticed on particularly cold days, the open Water Park will close occasionally due to weather conditions being too cold to swim. The best thing I've found is to keep an eye out on Weather.com as your trip gets closer and be sure to pack layers! We always bring our swim suits just in case even if the weather report calls for low temps!

I sure hope this helps, Sarah! Please feel free to send more questions in if we can help with anything as you're planning your next magical vacation!

    Have a Pixie Dusted day!
